Children’s Services: 

Brown County Health Department offers the following immunizations for children on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00-4:00.  Call 988-2255 for an appointment:

              MMR, Hep B, DTP, Polio, Prevnar, Hib, Rotavirus, Varicella (chicken pox), 

                   Menactra, Hep A, and HPV

Lead Testing is available free of charge by appointment.  For lead safety tips, go to www.cdc.gov/nceh/lead/faq/toys.htm or www.in.gov/isdh/programs/lead/index.htm.   Testing kits are available at the Health Department.

 

Well Child Clinics are held twice a year. Children can receive a physical exam at the clinic.  Check  the calendar page for dates and times.

TB testing & Information:  Requires 2 visits – Cost $5.00

Cholesterol Screening - $10.00  (please fast after midnight, water only)

Tetanus Immunization Shot – no charge

Blood Pressure Checks/Pulse/Temps – no charge

Diabetes and Anemia Screenings – no charge

Urine, dipstick urinalysis

Pregnancy Testing – no charge 

Lice Checks & Medication – there is a $3.50 charge for medication

Flu Shots -- offered each fall.  Check Calendar for dates and times.
